Question about eudev and udev

Question

i dont know if a have eudev runing or not , i installed the package eudev and it say

 

 * You need to restart eudev as soon as possible to make the
 * upgrade go into effect:
 *     /etc/init.d/udev --nodeps restart
 *

so eudev is not working?
