gentoo repository

Bonjour à tous,

I'm happy to try Funtoo Linux : it's a great experience.

So, I want to install a package but is not in the repositories : I thought gentoo was automatically present. 

Then, I'm enabled gentoo overlay but emerge seems complained

Could you tell me more about repositories funtoo/gentoo ?

Hi, do you can use layman to add an overlay.

I do it but it seems unstable when i do uDN @world with many conflicts. so I roll back by a layman -d gentoo ?

you need control the repo priority, to not reinstall the whole system.

@davidvs If there is a package in Gentoo that you want in Funtoo, you can open a bug for it explaining why you would like it and we can most likely add it.

This is the easiest way rather than messing with getting it working yourself.
