davidvs 0
Bonjour à tous, I'm happy to try Funtoo Linux : it's a great experience. So, I want to install a package but is not in the repositories : I thought gentoo was automatically present. Then, I'm enabled gentoo overlay but emerge seems complained Could you tell me more about repositories funtoo/gentoo ? Thanks a lot, Yours davidvs PS : sorry for my bad words in english :-)

0 AdiosKid 71
you need control the repo priority, to not reinstall the whole system. Edited November 21, 2020 by AdiosKid
0 Funtoo Linux BDFL drobbins 390 Posted November 21, 2020 Funtoo Linux BDFL Report Share Posted November 21, 2020 @davidvs If there is a package in Gentoo that you want in Funtoo, you can open a bug for it explaining why you would like it and we can most likely add it. This is the easiest way rather than messing with getting it working yourself.
