lxde-meta: Failed to emerge x11-libs/libfm-1.2.3

Question

checking for GIO... yes
checking for GTK... yes
checking for MENU_CACHE... no
configure: error: Package requirements (libmenu-cache >= 0.3.2) were not met:

Package libmenu-cache was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libmenu-cache.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
Package 'libmenu-cache', required by 'world', not found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables MENU_CACHE_CFLAGS
and MENU_CACHE_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

Seems we have a couple of broken links in the wiki.

Yes...you are installing LXDE...but this may be pertinent:

At the top of the xfce page, is a reference to update the eselect profile. There is also a mix-in for lxde (eselect profile list to view).

Enabling this will queue portage to pull in necessary packages so that lxde-meta can be installed.

So, have you set your eselect profile mix-in for lxde?
