( dbus ) The above constraints are a subset of the following complete expression: utils? ( any-of ( gtk gtk3 ) ) python? ( dbus gdbm any-of ( python_targets_python2_7 ) ) mono? ( dbus ) howl-compat? ( dbus ) mdnsresponder-compat? ( dbus ) however python 2.7 seems to be missing from the repos. I'm assuming I missed something about a 2.7 to 3.x transition... any hints? 1 cardinal Posted March 24, 2018 Report Share Posted March 24, 2018 If python use is enabled you must have dbus use enabled. Emerge has detected dbus use flag disabled for avahi. Hey all,
Apparently "net-dns/avahi" needs python 2.7 built with dbus
however python 2.7 seems to be missing from the repos. I'm assuming I missed something about a 2.7 to 3.x transition...
any hints?
