You have to provide the required information about your system and the failed build.log to assist users volunteering their time to help you.
If you don't chances are slim to none anyone will be able to assist you unless the same build failure occurs on their computer.

libsecret-0.18.3 builds on my current system:

wgetpaste /var/log/portage/app-crypt\:libsecret-0.18.3\:20151115-173937.log

I fear KDE packages are the problem. How can I cleanly reinstall KDE?

I tried removing the mix-in and remove/clean but I did not succeed.

Is there a standard process to follow?  Like remove everything and keep the essential to have a running system, then reinstall whatever wanted? Without loosing configuration files, of course.

Or is it better to try to resolve conflicts, one-by-one?  But, it appears that they are too many.

NOTE: Use the '--verbose-conflicts' option to display parents omitted above

It may be possible to solve this problem by using package.mask to
prevent one of those packages from being selected. However, it is also
possible that conflicting dependencies exist such that they are
impossible to satisfy simultaneously. If such a conflict exists in
the dependencies of two different packages, then those packages can
not be installed simultaneously.

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man
page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.
