euse doesn't work.

Hi to all; Today, i've encountered an issue abour euse.

 

e.g. :

 

cit4771ht ~ # euse -i png

ERROR: /usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc is not readable

 

In effect the file  /usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc doesn't exist

 

there is the file:  /usr/portage/profiles/use.desc

 

I have to wait for a new release of the various portage's utilities, or may be sufficient to create a simlink ?

profiles/use.local.desc was deleted last sync.

merge_utils.py should run the command below when funtoo staging is merged with ports-2012 to update use.local.desc

 

Command to write /usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc

# egencache --update-use-local-desc --repo=gentoo

If I make a symlink

 

cit4771ht ~ # ln -s /usr/portage/profiles/use.desc /usr/portage/profiles/use.local.desc

 

euse works.

 

But that is a "definitive solution or I try "another way ?

My use case is to create Manifest after adding ebuild to local overlay.

ebuild  <pkgname-version.ebuild> manifest
