0 cardinal
Boot system rescue live cd. Mount the funtoo partition. Chroot into broken funtoo: http://www.funtoo.org/Install#Chroot_into_Funtoo Find the package that was unmerged from the emerge log and re-emerge it. less /var/log/emerge.log
0 axelgenus
Do you miss the keyboard in Xorg or completely? It seems strange since keyboard support is in the kernel so no package unmerge can deny you keyboard support. Try switching to console (ALT+F1). 0 adcdam
The two packges that were unmerged were xf86-input-keyboard and xf86-input-mouse but i dont know why? i had, previous to that problem written eudev instead of evdev in input devices after reading what is eudev and evdev i change my make.conf to evdev, is keyboard and mouse needed in make.conf or just evdev would take care of that? my etc/make.conf look like this now. AKEOPTS="-j9"LINGUAS="es"INPUT_DEVICES="evdev keyboard mouse"VIDEO_CARDS="nvidia"USE="X xorg dbus gtk gtk2 gtk3 tools (multilib) alsa"ABI_X86="32 64"
0 axelgenus
Those two packages should be required by xorg-server. Can you paste the output of "emerge -pv xorg-server"?
0 adcdam
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:Calculating dependencies... done![ebuild R ] x11-base/xorg-server-1.16.4-r1:0/1.16.1 USE="(-selinux) -static-libs -systemd -tslib -unwind -wayland -xnestTotal: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 kB * IMPORTANT: 3 news items need reading for repository 'gentoo' * Use eselect news to read news items.
