I used (chroot) # emerge linux-firmware networkmanager (chroot) # rc-update add NetworkManager default and it installed fine. sorry to get you guys thru my birth pain with Funtoo ;-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I installed nm-applet and added it to auto start and now it is working fine. Next subject will be sound but I will figure around a bit before I post another question, sorry guys.
