Sorry guys another block with dev-db/mariadb I hate iy with passion

Question

This (also) appears when performing a fresh merge of kde-base/kde-meta (i.e. KDE SC 4). The workaround that I have had success with is to first merge virtual/mysql (a dependency of KDE SC 4)

emerge --oneshot virtual/mysql

then retry the merge of kde-base/kde-meta

emerge -atuvDN --with-bdeps=y @world kde-meta
