Layman problem

Hi, i installed layman, i added the sunrise overlay to install foxitreader. In the funtoo wiki it say that i have to add this line

echo "source /var/lib/layman/make.conf" >> /etc/portage/make.conf  below everything else, i added tha line

but when i do emerge foxitreader i get this:

"/etc/make.conf", line 7: Invalid token 'source /var/lib/layman/make.conf' (not '=')
 

whats the problem here?

Can you post your whole /etc/make.conf?  I've got the same line at the bottom of my /etc/make.conf and it's working fine for me.
