upc0d3
Hello guys, I'm having a little problem with ACPI I got this error at dmesg: # dmesg |grep -i error [ 11.683927] ACPI Error: [\_SB_.PCI0.GFX0.DD02._BCL] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20131218/psargs-359) [ 11.683931] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.RP05.PEGP.DD02._BCL] (Node ffff88022707b050), AE_NOT_FOUND (20131218/psparse-536) And I don't really know if by it self is a problem. What a know is that from time to time I got a kernel panic, related to this. So I've made some research and a lot of the topics I found tell me just: "don't worry... just reboot yout computer." But that's not really a soluction, is it? Anyone has had this problem? Any tips on how can I fix it? Thanks!
Ryo
Hi, It looks like there is no real answer to this problem. I read this topic It is certainly related to a buggy BIOS ( EFI ? ).
upc0d3
Ryo, it's possible it's related to BIOS (EFI). But I don't know exactly... What I know is that I'm afraid to sleep with my laptop turned on... because of the kernel panic. =\
