Hello funtoo forum, I seem to be having problems with post installation networking. I followed the funtoo installation guide using the debian-sources and universal kernel. I installed NetworkManager and added both networkmanager and dhcpcd default. However I do not get an IP address.
I am running this as a virtual machine using virtualbox.
nmcli dev status
DEVICE TYPE STATE
eth0 802-3-ethernet disconnected
nmcli con status
NAME UUID TYPE TIMESTAMP-REAL
Wired connection 1 de1f1889-7e2b-4004-931d-350ba2a42d8b 802-3-ethernet Mon 03 Nov 2014 08:21:47 AM CST
dmesg | grep eth0
[ 6.158591] e1000 0000:00:03.0 eth0: (PCI:33MHz:32-bit) 08:00:27:36:2b:0f

[ 11.520493] e1000: eth0 NIC Link is up 1000 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: RX
[ 11.520773] IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready
can someone please help me figure out what I may have done wrong or might need to add to correct this. I am leaning to the face that I see IPv6 and not IPv4 as being the main culprit here but I could be wrong.
