Problem with eselect editor

i get this after sudo eselect python edit:

!!! Error: EDITOR is not set

So I guess this is unresolved?

 

I seem to be in the same boat.

 

 

update:  "Run ". /etc/profile" to update the variable in your shell.

seemed to fix this in case anyone else finds this.
