I've always used kernels compiled by myself, in order to have a kernel tailored to my needs. I haven't experienced any problem so far, until lately.
I've installed latest debian sources on my funtoo machine: everything works fine except when I tried to compile the kernel by myself. Compilation and installation went fine but as soon as I rebooted the machine I got stuck at the folowing point:
random: crng init done
After that nothing happens, although I can reboot with Ctrl+Alt+Canc
I would like to post a log or similar but I don't know where to look: I boot the system with another OS to find somethin but I can't find anything in the /var directory. Might be there are problems with the rootfs?
