Funtoo dead (at least for me?)?

Hi all,

I have recently started to notice lack of updates. Notably updates from Funtoo poortage tree. Even after two weeks without  emerge --sync all I got is one package from tree and a bunch from overlays.

Is there any hiatus from pulling updates from Gentoo tree or some great sanitation effort of such pull that makes updates almost nonexistant?

Or there was some change in portage mechanism that went by unnoticed by me? Devs went away? I have got blacklisted or something?

And latest changes (ie. forum) seem to be made around Funtoo. It was quite hard to understand why scrap older platform and start with bare-metal one (but full with bells and whistles). I do not event recall message that would give warning about planned restart; went by bookmarked url and got nothing.

I feel like Funtoo is vanishing.

Thanks Oleg,

35 updates/downgrades, something moved. I will monitor situation.

Could you please explain how LANGUAGE and PORTDIR options could make this effect? I have had this set-up for quite a long time and it just worked. It may be that I broke something without even realising when tidying make.conf.

best regards.
