A new wireless attack techniques discovered. The weaknesses are in the Wi-Fi standard itself, and not in individual products or implementations. Therefore, any correct implementation of WPA2 is likely affected. To prevent the attack, users must update affected products as soon as security updates become available. I have a fresh install of funtoo XFCE4, ethernet network is working fine, but wireless, doesn't show. I used (chroot) # emerge linux-firmware networkmanager (chroot) # rc-update add NetworkManager default and it installed fine. sorry to get you guys thru my birth pain with Funtoo ;-)
