  1. So, I masked the version app-office/ledger-3.1.1 and install 3.1-r1. It compiled without any problem!! It downgrades the dependencies: dev-libs/boost-1.62 and dev-util/boost-build-1.62 to 1.56. Perhaps it has to do with the linking error at the end of the built..just a guess..

    Should I fill a bug about this?

  2. I've tried what you suggest:

    USE="-python" emerge ledger

    with no success. The same kind of error during compilation phase. It compiled much faster though.

    I start suspecting that I can have a faulty ram module that is giving me all this trouble....I will try a memtest86

  3. Hi,

    I am trying to emerge:

    [ebuild  N    ] app-office/ledger-3.1.1  USE="python -doc -emacs" PYTHON_TARGETS="python2_7"

    I get this error:

    '/var/tmp/portage/app-office/ledger-3.1.1/temp/build.log'

     * Messages for package app-office/ledger-3.1.1:

    I increase the swap partition temporarily since I have only 6GB of RAM

    free -m
                  total used free shared buff/cache available
    Mem:           5714         789        3972         442         951        4257
    Swap:          6145         472        5673

    I also tried to play around with the flag MAKEOPTS (="-j1" instead of "-j5").

    I don't know what else to try. Some help would be much appreciated

    Attached is the build log.

  4. Hello,

    I am new in funtoo. Thanks a lot. Great work.

    I recently install it in a HP pavilion dv6 ( http://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c02704317). The installation went very smooth until I hit a problem with the hdmi video output.

    The hdmi output is not listed when I query:

    xrandr -q

    Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1366 x 768, maximum 8192 x 8192

    It appears to be two video cards in my system. lscpi:

    Attached are the xorg logs. Apparently the hdmi is working. Even the monitor I hooked to the hdmi (L246WH) seems to be configured.  I don't know where to start. Thanks a lot for any help
