ostrolk got a reaction from dogeatsvomit in Can't install Network Manager
From this place, can't move forward

    (chroot) # emerge linux-firmware networkmanager
I get this (the end part of it)
The following USE changes are necessary to proceed:  (see "package.use" in the portage(5) man page for more details) # required by sys-auth/polkit-0.113::gentoo[-systemd] # required by net-misc/networkmanager-1.0.6-r1::gentoo # required by networkmanager (argument) >=sys-auth/consolekit-0.4.6 policykit Use --autounmask-write to write changes to config files (honoring CONFIG_PROTECT). Carefully examine the list of proposed changes, paying special attention to mask or keyword changes that may expose experimental or unstable packages.[code]   I am completely a noob on Funtoo/Gentoo. The next command won't work, as there is no NetworkManager. [code]rc-update add NetworkManager default  * rc-update: service `NetworkManager' does not exist How do I go forward?
