[Can't install Network Manager]

I did as Cardinal said yesterday. It took 1hr and 37 mins to install network Manager. Its bit discouraging, really.

I am completely a noob on Funtoo/Gentoo. The next command won't work, as there is no NetworkManager.
[code]rc-update add NetworkManager default
 * rc-update: service `NetworkManager' does not exist

How do I go forward?
