  1. Hi, I'm using the latest version of Plasma Dekstop but the latest version has some issue with the touchpad and other stuff, well I'm use a Asus ROG G750jx is a amazing laptop but has some troubles, but almost all works fantastic

    so, I wanna mask the "kde-plasma/plasma-meta-5.5.5" but not it, I want all kde-plasma/* packages from this category.

    someone how a way to do it without put each package on "package.accept_keywords" file ?

  2. Hi guys, I made a custom Plymouth theme splash Funtoo version, after I'll make the Gentoo version :).

  4. first add the packages to "package.use"

    The following USE changes are necessary to proceed:
    (see "package.use" in the portage(5) man page for more details)
    # required by media-libs/gst-plugins-base-0.10.36-r2::gentoo
    # required by dev-qt/qtwebkit-4.8.7::gentoo[gstreamer]

  5. Hi, I was test the plymouth months ago and works pretty, and I'm testing the profile Hardened from epro, I relly like more security is essencial.

    ok, after I recompile my system with Hardened the plymouth doesn't work anymore and show me that message when I try init it.

    plymouthd: symbol lookup error: plymouthd: undefined symbol: ply_boot_splash_add_text_display

    I'm looking for somthing but till now nothing.

    I have a backup of my kernel(hardened) and initramfs before I compiled my system to Hardened with plymouth and works normal on boot, but now even I generate a new gernkernel with plymouth doesn't work.

    someone could give a hand on it, I really want use the system more secure with a plymouth splash.

    Thanks

  6. Already mentioned what was wrong with the Red Panda. You are looking for a symbol. Symbols have meaning, beyond just 'Awe that's cute'. If the symbol you use already has strong meanings in the person viewing the symbol, then you should intend for that association to be made in the persons mind.

    Do you intend to associate Funtoo with communist China?

    you're right, anyway we need a moscot and a logo.

  8. Daniel like the Gentoo penguin,

    I like the angry tux > https://i.imgur.com/lWMmmwJ.jpg

    but the firefox is amazing too : https://www.google.com.br/search?es_sm=122&biw=1366&bih=649&tbm=isch&q=red+panda+drawing&revid=1765355719&sa=X&ved=0CCYQ1QJqFQoTCKvb7pKIj8gCFQSFkAodEvYKdw&dpr=1

    anyway, Funtoo linux deserves more dedication, is the most powerful meta-distro that currently exists and really need a logo and a mascot at height
