Thank you cardinal...I got it working now by downgrading. I had unmasked openrc-0.12.r4 a while ago and accidentally put >=sys-apps/openrc-0.12.4-r4 instead of =sys-apps/openrc-0.12.4-r4....duh!

I reoved the networkmanage.conf and it seems to be working now. The 'addwifi' didn't seem t work. Turns out it doesn't like
'!!' exclamation points in the password setting.

BTW...I just recompiled networkmanager to get rid of the error above.
