Seems I had both vala-0.20.0 and vala-0.24.0 installed. I umerged both and then did a emerge -vauDN world. Everything is working now. Thanks

I am having a strange issue when emerging evolution-data-server-3.12.4. The build.log grows forever filling up my harddrive. In the build log I just see this repeated.
