    Ok .... your idea to upgrade to the top version of the kit "media-kit" was decisive ....
    I did some tests and for now it seems to me that the behavior is correct !!!!

    For some time now the user change does not work using sddm. I tried to use gdm as a login manager while not having gnome3, but nothing to do, because using KDE session to manage the "login manager" still uses sddm. Has anyone else encountered the same problem?
    Should I contact kde.org?

    It's been a while since VLC does not work well: from time to time it "flashes" ... or there are "black" frames in an almost random way.
    The compilation is successful, I also tried the different options related to video output. I'm using an nVidia 660 GTX; I think the output of the active and inactive USE can be useful:

    Personally I have no idea how to deal with the problem. (I also wonder if the same thing happens to others).

    Uhm ... strange. I think at this point might be a good idea to create a report in bugs.funtoo.org

    Or maybe i've forgived a command: retry with

  21. [Solved ] Printer trouble (HP Pro 8710)

    I do not know exactly what does not work; however, the printer is multifunctional and I tested the scanner and works properly with "xsane" for example.
    As for printing, I have problems. the file I want to print however "enters the" print queue "" but the printer does not react ... does not do anything.
    I try to send a couple of logs.

    I have a problem with the multifunctional printer (HP Officejet 8710); the printer with windows works; with Fntoo instead no (not a couple of days ago worked fine;
