It may be possible to solve this problem by using package.mask to
prevent one of those packages from being selected. However, it is also
possible that conflicting dependencies exist such that they are
impossible to satisfy simultaneously. If such a conflict exists in
the dependencies of two different packages, then those packages can
not be installed simultaneously. You may want to try a larger value of
the --backtrack option, such as --backtrack=30, in order to see if
that will solve this conflict automatically.
For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man
page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.

I'm curious ... I wonder how many users in Italy use Funtoo and also those who use it as the main OS.
Funtoo likes me too much, so when I talk to someone I try to let him know this incredible meta-distribution.
But many times his genius is not "understood" .....: |This thread as I would like to create a forum related to Funtoo in "Italian" ...
But if in Italy no one uses funtoo, it makes no sense to do it :| -

I've 2.27-r6 glibc and no troubles with 2009 ebuilds.
I've compiled glibc using gcc-8.2.1-r4 from https://github.com/TemptorSent (dev-gcc-kit)

However, I did not really understand why xf86-drivers-synaptics even if disabled is still installed. -

You can unmask dev-lamg/python-3.5.3-r1
(Then you're using the 1.1-prime kits version ?)Other way is to switch to 1.2-prime ß
8i'm using 1.2-prime ß andq the system seems to run very well ^^
ANyway after upgrade to 1.2-prime ß python-3.5.x will be pruned .... and you will have the 2.7 and 3.6 :)
