  2. Hi @juan You can install fuse-2.x by emerging it in slot 0, like so: emerge -av sys-fs/fuse:0 Cheers,
  3. hi @juan Welcome to the community 🙂 We have an open bug report for your librsvg issue and I am happy to report that it appears to be fixed! currently In Progress with a PR merged https://bugs.funtoo.org/browse/FL-12332 If you sync now, you should be able to continue
  4. @sabaton please use https://bugs.forums.org for bug reports FYI it emerges fine on my test container
  5. @bpaddock Your problem has now been reported at https://bugs.funtoo.org/browse/FL-12051
  6. Hi @bpaddock people have successfully upgraded but it is unsupported. Please back up your system before proceeding! https://www.funtoo.org/Upgrade_Instructions/Next
  7. Hi @albatro74 I can confirm this error. Please file a ticket on bugs.funtoo.org so we can properly triage and fix it for everyone! In the meantime, you should be able to proceed with the following work-around: # rm /var/git/meta-repo/kits/desktop-kit/net-print/hplip-3.23.12/files/012_hplip-3.20.6-hppsfilter-fix-return-values.patch
  8. @sabaton this appears to have been resolved in Harvester branch, which I believe will merge into master today. You'll see it with dev-python/sphinx-7.2.5 update
  9. hi @sabaton Please use the issue tracker at bugs.funtoo.org for bug reports. Your issue may have already been reported here https://bugs.funtoo.org/browse/FL-11580
  10. @aitikin I think in general it's safe to write up a Bug for something like this. Also, Please mark this as Solved
  11. @sabaton Thanks for the reporting that you have an issue, however the forums here isn't a good place to get support for them! Fortunately it looks like someone else had this same issue and filed a ticket https://bugs.funtoo.org/browse/FL-11384 @drobbins performed a commit to lock the autogen to version 2022.12.01, so your issue should be resolved 😄
  12. Hi @loonylion thanks for your efforts on this! Selecting the best subarch for a system can really be a challenge... I've been using Skylake subarch on my laptop with Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz without issue, but your script says I should use Broadwell instead due to missing cpuflag SGX I found this informative article on it: https://phoenixnap.com/kb/intel-sgx Great work on this script though! It gives a ton of output while still being readable 😄 EDIT: I took ANOTHER look in the BIOS options and found it, Intel SGX when enabled in BIOS changed the output of your script to recommend Skylake subarch skylake - Estimated 94.87% match: 37 / 37 flags intersect: fxsr xsave sse4 vzeroupper mwait clflushopt adx avx f16c sse4.2 xsaveopt xsaves avx2 80387 mmx sse2 movbe sahf cx16 sse3 sgx bmi2 fsgsbase ssse3 popcnt rdrnd rdseed sse4.1 pclmul xsavec crc32 lzcnt aes prfchw bmi sse fma 5 Implied: lzcnt sse4 crc32 prefetch vzeroupper - Implied by: ABM SSE4_1 SSE4_2 3DNOWPREFETCH AVX 2 Extras: abm prefetch
  13. @aitikin ah okay, I wonder if you are still on Funtoo 1.4-release? That could explain why it would fail for you, as there aren't many users left to report issues. In any case, I recommend reporting this as a Bug. @radek is running into the same issue, caused by old gcc? FYI next-release we have sys-devel/gcc-11.3.0-r1
  14. Good stuff @drobbins @adbosco @seemant Keep up the good work, looking forward to your next issue!
  15. Hello @aitikin sorry for the delayed response... I am confident a fresh repo sync and world update will solve this problem for you. I didn't see anything relevant on http://bugs.funtoo.org and I've installed successfully myself. In future, if you're running into a bug like this, you can write a ticket on Jira there using your same login. Just please remember to read the instructions. Good luck!
