Hi, i'm installing the beautiful funtoo but by then i have a package download error, even funtoo servers are under attack?
-
Good morning or good evening to you all, as a great lover for gnu-linux world my curiosity leads me to poke around all distributions and recently I was very impressed by the work done by the Chinese team deepin linux. I really like their desktop environment and saw that Manjaro has already pulled out Manjaro deepin. I was wondering if even with funtoo one day be possible to install the desktop environment deepin. Thank you for the answers and good luck to all https://www.deepin.org/en/

Hello everyone, often talking with my friends or users of linux-gnu funtoo I was asked if it un'installer graphic. Funtoo has the advantage of being a system is not difficult (reading wiky) that puts you in the heart of the system, allows you to learn a lot and to customize the system to your liking by choosing in advance what you want. From what I see in recent developments, Daniel and his staff are making efforts to continue the work of modernization and simplification without ever take away the control system. You believe that un'installer chart used at the discretion of the user may call into question this principle? I think not but probably requires work that the staff is not trained or perhaps among all the jobs that need to be made the 'graphical installer is the least of the problems. Before using Funtoo it used Sabayon, derived gentoo that has always used the 'Fedora graphical installer and then inserted the packaging system equo / entropy. I also tried the Russian Calculate with un'installer I prefer to that of sabayon. These experiences make me think that a simplification of the installation could increase the visibility he funtoo users. What do you think? Sorry, i'm used google-translate.

Danger I used the google translator does not know enough English-American ...;-) Good morning everyone, I confirm that the real gentoo is the one maintained and developed by Daniel and his collaborators, could not be otherwise. Daniel thank you for the effort you are doing to make available to all this beautiful operating system. I am proof that your work is fine ..;-) I often try to make it clear to Ceriani that despite being a fantastic distribution Funtoo has an installation system that is not within the reach of all but it is said that in the future things change. How were created profiles in the future could come out a faster way to install this gemstone. I thank you for introducing me Ceriani in funtoo and all of you for the work you are doing. Funtoo is my favorite distribution, and every time I try the other not as thrilled with the rest funtoo. Lately I tried linux mint cinammon 17.1 and these days funtoo cinammon will install in its place. Thank you, thank you for all your work, you are fantastic. Deklan you are also a great person, so many good things. ;-)

Dependencies could not be completely resolved
morphmex replied to morphmex's question in Installation Help
When upgrading to a new version of perl, it is necessary to also run perl-cleaner afterwards: # emerge -auvDN @world # perl-cleaner --all :D -
