Hi everyone, some time ago I was wondering what happened to Oleg, I'm glad to know that you are active again in Funtoo. I didn't know you were Ukrainian. Oleg I want to tell you that I am very sorry about what is happening in your country. Since the invasion (war) began, I have followed all the events very closely via TV, radio and the internet, even when I work. I hope this nightmare ends as soon as possible and I'm glad that my country, Italy like all of Europe is lined up in support of Ukraine. https://ibb.co/0ZFszpK I just updated the system funtoomex /home/morphmex # emerge --depclean -a * Always study the list of packages to be cleaned for any obvious * mistakes. Hi all, I reinstalled funtoo using kde-stage3-intel64-skylake-next. Everything went smoothly. Now I finish installing kde-apps-meta. It would be useful to have the iptvsimple plugin available to media-tv/kodi. If you don't hear any other reports, it means that kde-apps-meta has also been installed without any problems. Have a nice day and good work.

Hi fredmyra, look for the funtoo channel in discord and you will find a section dedicated to linux macaroni inside and if you are interested you can chat directly with its creator. Good day.. https://www.funtoo.org/Funtoo:Macaroni_Linux https://github.com/macaroni-os/macaronictl https://openai.com/blog/chatgpt/ 😁

When I left windows and pinnacle, kdenlive was always my favorite program. On gentoo/funtoo you should always add the vidstab flag to media-libs/mlt to be able to stabilize scenes when needed.

but... it would be good to add in the ebuilds tree if possible all kodi-plugins, example: https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/media-plugins/kodi-pvr-iptvsimple https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/media-plugins/kodi-inputstream-adaptive ecc...

Hi, I would recommend adding media-libs/fdk-aac to your ebuild tree to be able to install handbrake and if possible upgrade to a newer version. Handbrake is useful for converting video files, I personally need it to convert my panasonic camera's.mts file into more manageable video files to edit with kdenlive. mexwolf /home/mexwolf # eix handbrake * media-video/handbrake [1] Available versions: 1.3.3 {+fdk gstreamer gtk libav-aac numa nvenc x265} Homepage: http://handbrake.fr/ Description: Open-source, GPL-licensed, multiplatform, multithreaded video transcoder [1] "media-kit" /var/git/meta-repo/kits/media-kit mexwolf /home/mexwolf # emerge -a handbrake These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "media-libs/fdk-aac". (dependency required by "media-video/handbrake-1.3.3::media-kit[fdk]" [ebuild]) (dependency required by "handbrake" [argument]) mexwolf /home/mexwolf # eix media-libs/fdk-aac No matches found mexwolf /home/mexwolf # https://handbrake.fr/ Apri in Google Traduttore• Feedback

Hello, a curiosity... I wanted to know how the update tree works, are there any deadlines or does it depend on the work being done to correct errors and apply updates? From what little I understand the bulk of the work is automated.

Hi all, I realized that I have reported a bug already sent by Semant. I've tried to remove it but can't find a way FL-10910 Failed to emerge dev-python/sphinxcontrib-applehelp-1.0.3
