Report touchpad not working on Dell 7490 laptop in General Discussion Posted May 25, 2019 I've got a 7490 too, and I do not have synpatics installed as everything works fine with libinput only. To get the stickpoint and touchpad working, enabling HID_ALPS in my kernel config did the trick.
