  1. portage still tries to download the file form nvidia.com anyway, regardless of whether the file is in distfiles or not. EDIT: nevermind, for some reason the file downloaded with the name "nvidia-settings-375.10.tar.bz2.1", moved it and the fix worked
  2. my GTX 1070 is the only graphics processor that my computer has, so I need the drivers to run Xorg, but whenever I try to run "emerge nvidia-drivers" I get the following connection error. I assume it's because Nvidia officially no longer supports download.nvidia.com, so why is Funtoo rigged to use it? * NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-375.10.run SHA256 SHA512 WHIRLPOOL size ;-) ...
