thanks for your response! i first looked at that and thought "oh wow.... really?!" to myself, but it turns out to be just a typo on my part, the log shows that the jvms is loaded at 4096. i did some more digging and found that people had suggested using the jvm flag -XX:-UsePerfData and since then the crash hasn't occured again! ?

Hi all, I am currently renting out a large sized funtoo container and started up a small jenkins instance (it's got one job) on there. when you install windows it makes itself your default boot option. you should be able to press a button (mine is f12) during boot up in order to bring up the boot menu or BIOS screen. If you're not able to find the BIOS or boot menu, it might be because Windows doesn't ever do a full shutdown and instead just puts itself to sleep so that when you press power Windows just wakes up. If this happens, I recommend shutting down windows, then holding onto the power button which will cause Windows to wake up, but keep holding onto the power button until your power is completely killed (15-2

Hi all, I am unable to update my binutils. At first I received errors about conflicts and the files pointed to some /usr/share/locale files. I tried searching through forums and attempted various solutions, and I just made it worse. Has anyone else encountered this before? 1) I attempted to update (emerge -auDN --with-bdeps=y) 2) I unmerged binutils (DONT DO THIS!!!) 3) I tried to restore binutils and was able to get a version back # eselect binutils show x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-2.24 4) I tried removing the "-march=native" flags in my make,conf, but it did not cha
