[solved]Bonding Configuration: error: ifenslave: command not found

I am trying to bond eth0 and eth1 together.

I have set up bonding according to the instructions in funtoo networking.

/etc/init.d/netif.bond0
/etc/netif.d/bond: line 11: ifenslave: error: command not found

Is this a bug in the code?  Can someone give me a hint as to how to fix this.
eth0  and eth1 start, but bond0 does not start.

I found out what was causing the problem:

emerge ifenslave

Other problem: don't set the mtu in the netif.bond0 file.  bond0 will not start if mtu=9000 is set in the configuration file.

Thanks,

Don James

Don, please, open bug on bugs.funtoo.org, this looks like a major issue for bonding.
