Module parameters being ignored at boot

Hi all

Can anyone help me out here?! The specified module parameters in /etc/conf.d/modules are being ignored...

# Module parameters
modules="${modules} dvb_usb_dib0700"
module_dvb_usb_dib0700_args="force_lna_activation=1 adapter_nr=0,1"

modules="${modules} dvb_usb"
module_dvb_usb_args="disable_rc_polling=1"

modules="${modules} cx88_dvb"
module_cx88_dvb_args="adapter_nr=2"

modules="${modules} cx88xx"
module_cx88xx_args="disable_ir=1"

I can't seem to work out what I'm doing wrong here... Things work if I have a local start script. e.g.

#!/bin/bash

sleep 10
/etc/init.d/mythbackend stop
sleep 10
rmmod dvb_usb_dib0700
modprobe dvb_usb_dib0700 force_lna_activation=1 adapter_nr=0,1
/etc/init.d/mythbackend start

Running

sys-apps/openrc-0.10.2-r7

&

sys-apps/baselayout-2.2.0-r4

Thanks in advance...

Re: Module parameters being ignored at boot

hi,

It looks like the syntax needs some rewrite.
I found this thread.
Someone had to use :

modules_3_x="${modules_3_x} some_module"
module_some_module_args_3_x="..."

replace x with the correct number.
