No module named portage

I didn't read this post soon enough and my toolchain got updated with portage.  Now I'm getting

ImportError: No module named portage

from almost every tool like equery, python-updater, etc.

Re: No module named portage

I could be wrong but that looks more like a portage / python issue, not toolchain. Looks like it can't find portage, is it still installed?

Re: No module named portage

NOLF, run python-updater, let it do it's job, then emerge --sync and update the box.

However, tools like equery still didn't work and I couldn't update my system because libtool was affected too.  I've gone back to portage-2.2.1.1 and everythings back to normal.
