I dont know much about porthole, I have installed it a few times ... just seemed like even the most basic functions did not work for me. Like using search, a few packages show but I know there is more. Maybe I was missing a use flag or something, but I just had no luck with it. 0 funfool Posted June 28, 2015 Report Share Posted June 28, 2015 I was just remembering the old days when portato was still active and supported. I said portato was great. And it did work well for me, I was just learning portage in those days. But since portato died, I have tried kuroo and porthole and they just did not work well for me.
