Python and use static-libs.

After installing gnome 3 I added static-libs in/etc/portage/make.conf. It 's been recompiled excluding python 2.7 because it hangs on a checking. In the end I settled with -static-libs in python /etc/portage/package.use. 

Do you have suggestions? Sorry but I have so much to learn ...;-)

Do it the other way around, don't set static-libs gloabally, you will have more troubles, instead set it per package  in package.use.
